2012 Annual Call for Volunteers for Committee Chairmen and Vice-ChairmenJuly 02, 2012 Dear ZRA members:
The Board of Directors submits to the membership, the annual Call for Volunteers for Committee Chairmen and Vice-Chairmen. In the Bylaws, we set-up terms for Leadership positions in order to allow for a rotation of members into these positions to keep perspectives fresh and allow for all members interested in serving to have opportunities to do so. Committee involvement is a fantastic way for any member, especially new members, to learn more about ZRA and to meet other members. The Board of Directors is committed to offering opportunities for all members, and has demonstrated this by making the 2012 Leadership Development Program open to all ZRA members. To participate, please select the 2012 Leadership Development Program, when you register for the Annual Conference. The event is offered on Wednesday, 3 October 2012. The Board of Directors is optimistic that the Leadership Development Program will continue to help members attain valuable skills and competencies that will assist them in their jobs and their lives in general.
We are currently recruiting for Chairmen and Vice-Chairmen positions for Committees for the 2012-2014 terms. We are also recruiting for Vice-Chairman for the Ethics Committee and Chairman and Member for Nominations and Elections Committee, both are Board appointed committees.
