2018 ZRA Hosted ICRM Exam Prep Workshop
September 04, 2018ZRA is excited to partner with the Institute of Certified Records Managers (ICRM) for the 11th consecutive year to provide information about ICRM certification and its relevancy, value and benefits to those Records and Information Management (RIM) professionals working in the Zoological Registrar profession. There will be a full day of ICRM Exam Prep sessions that will focus on the Certified Records Analyst (CRA) and Certified Records Manager (CRM) credentials, Monday, 8 October 2018, at the Zasio hotel, in Palm Springs, CA, http://www.zooregistrars.org/conference/hotel, Room is Woodstock 1.

Certified Records Analyst (CRA) Sessions
ICRM Overview: Application to Certification and Parts 2-4 (CRA) Session
Overview: 8:00 a.m. – 8:45 a.m.
Part 2: 8:45 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Break: 10:00 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.
Part 3: 10:15 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
Part 4: 11:15 a.m. – 12:30 pm
Lunch: 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Certified Records Manager (CRM) Sessions
Parts 1, 5 and 6 (Parts 1-6 required for CRM)
Part 1: 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Part 5: 2:30 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.
Break: 3:45 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Part 6: 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Sessions provide an introduction to the ICRM certification process including qualifications, a detailed overview of the material covered in Parts 2-4 for the Certified Records Analyst (CRA) and the additional Parts 1, 5 and 6 for the Certified Records Manager (CRM) credential, with 20 sample questions for all parts. Technological advances have forever altered the way in which people and business communicate and these changes impact records and information management. There is no better time to prepare for an exciting career in this space.
