2020 Virtual Conference- Presentation Information & Requirements
June 10, 2020VIRTUAL PRESENTATION INFORMATION & REQUIREMENTS
- As with previous years, presentations must focus on one or more of the primary categories – Record Keeping; Wildlife Permits and Legislation; Animal Transport; Records and Collection Management; and Conservation.
- Presentation Formats
- General Session - Pre-recorded video of PowerPoint with voice-over (~20 minutes), including time for live audience interaction / Q & A (5-10 minutes max)
- Panel session: 45-60- minute live discussion with 3-5 panelists (including a lead who serves as a moderator) including at least 10 minutes of audience interaction / Q & A
- Workshops – 3-hour live session via web-conferencing
- Poster presentation: Pre-recorded video of poster with voice-over, (~10 minutes).
- The Conference Committee will provide more information and support for pre-recording presentations once the selection process is complete.
- To allow time for Program Chair to review the content – and for presenters to incorporate changes – the FINAL videos/PowerPoint presentations and other supplemental materials (e.g., handouts) are due no later than 31 August 2020.
- Presenters will be required to participate in technical reviews and rehearsals with the ZRA Conference Committee.
- All presenters must sign ZRA’s standard Speaker Agreement and provide a short biography and head shot photo
